War chest circa 1650

Original baroque hand forged war chest / Iron Chest in heavy iron quality from the period around 1650. The chest is their age, in a very good condition. No holes or rusted through! The 7-fold locking mechanism in the chest lid still works properly. Inside is still a small document compartment incorporated! This locking mechanism also works flawlessly. On the chest front of a sham castle is to deceive thieves. When the locking mechanism is actuated with the key when it is unlocked, the springs fix the latch, so that unobstructed by itself again after the release of the key, the chest. The internal lock mechanism is decorated with various engraved plates. The bow of the key is probably aborted times and was renewed once. Otherwise, the war chest in all parts is old and original! Very nice war chest. Rarely in this really good condition. Very decorative.
