Windsor-Castle is located near London (approx. 45 minutes by train). The former castle is one of the largest complexes in the world and is privately owned by the Queen. Every now and then the Queen lives in the castle or gives receptions! The castle is guarded by the royal guard. The royal weapons collection, furniture, paintings and much more can be seen in the various rooms. The large banquet hall with lots of armor can also be visited. There are cozy pubs and cafes in the old town right by the castle. A trip from London is absolutely worth it.
