Italian bronze bell

Italian church bell made of bronze. Origin: Northern Italy, probably Venice, 1803. Diameter sharpness: 38 cm. Height: 45 cm. Weight: approx. 45 kg. Several circumferential profile rings as well as decorative elements. Flank with crucifixion scene of Christ and dating 1803 as well as illustrations of Madonnas. Shoulder with surrounding decorative border. The Wolm front with small cartouche and inscription "Opus Canciani". Bell probably originates from the periphery of Venice, possibly even from the chapel San Canciano (?). Bobbin of iron. Outstanding, clean sound. Very good condition with excellent brownish age patina. Pleasant, long lasting sound. The sharpness with some small, old flaws.
