Iron chest, German around 1690. Elaborate lock in the lid with 7 latches / tongues and an extra three fixed tumblers! Front with nicely decorated false lock. The keyhole cover on the lid is opened by pulling a rivet. Key closes perfectly. No rust perforations. Very good condition for its age. The wooden base and the wooden lid are included and were made around 1800 for this iron chest. Dimensions without base and lid: 46 x 72 x 43 cm.
