Large baroque eagle made of linden wood, Prussia around 1740. Very finely and plastically carved. Such eagles stood on larger wrought iron frames similar to an easel. The eagle was probably painted in color or even plated with gold leaf. Very good condition without damage or breaks. Height: 54cm
