Pavese around 1480

Spätgotische Pavese, southern German circa 1480. Arched wooden plaque with pigskins and painted on a chalky ground. Black eagle with rhombus crest on chest. Inside two pairs of forged eyelets with handles made of turned leather. For high age in good condition with minor restorations. Height 81cm and width 33cm.
