Furnace cast-plate around 1700. In the oval laurel wreath, surrounded by four rosettes, the double eagle with imperial crown. The coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire-German Nation. The plate most likely comes from a stove. The lower part of the furnace was equipped with this kind of cast iron plates, and the upper part was made of tiles. The castings heated rapidly, giving off instant heat. The tiles needed longer to store and dispense heat, but then kept the heat and thus ensured pleasant room temperatures. This type of stove is already found in some castles of the late 15th century. Very good condition and very decorative. Measurements: cá. Width 58cm and height 76cm. Weight estimated 45-50 Kg.
